At work
I’ve worked on platforms since I started. The kind has changed, from trading systems in the energy sector to web platforms, Kubernetes and data, but the work is the same: building the foundation other people build on, and making it boring and predictable. Today I help customers do that across public, private and hybrid cloud.
A few examples from along the way:
- Trading systemsEvent-based platforms for energy trading and dispatch.
- Web platformsMulti-tenant CMS platforms with CI/CD and hybrid cloud deployment.
- Kubernetes platformsShared clusters with security models, networking and GitOps.
- Data platformsStreaming and search foundations that teams build on.
- Supply chain and securityHow container images are built and trusted, and physically separated, high-security setups.
Alongside the technical work I contribute to CNCF projects, and I’ve led teams and a business unit, so how people work matters to me as much as the tech. Most of my work is private, which is why my GitHub looks quiet.
Golden Kubestronaut The full CNCF certification path, plus Azure Solutions Architect Expert and more. See all my badges on Credly. There’s also a CertDirectory profile that groups them by the skills they cover.
At home
Three small machines running Talos, and a Fedora box with a KDE desktop that I build as a bootable container image. It runs on rootless Podman, with CI I host myself.
It’s mostly a place to learn how immutable systems behave, including when they don’t.

Teaching and talks
I teach a security module to people leaders who don’t come from a technical background. The goal is that they leave knowing which questions to ask, not which tools to buy.
I also give talks, for example Bridging the Gap Between VMs and Containers at Cloud Native Aarhus.
